This work is from a series of designs from "Immortality". The purpose of this work was to create a dress that represented the immortal image. The wings of a special allegorical bird, composed of feathers with radiating shape inspired this dress design. The design for this message of immortality was intended to include the concepts of splendor, elegance, delight, and passion with a vision of living forever. With an emphasis on these concepts, the radiating construction with the asymmetrical trimming was manipulated to create a wearable garment.
Materials: 98% wool / 2% spandex, felt, acrylic cabochon
